Showcase the flexibility of the flagship Kineduo product by helping installers and customers find the perfect accessible bathing solution to boost sales.

Produce an interactive configurator using CGI graphics allowing users to select installation options and see the changes in real time to arrive at their ideal configuration.

A simplified sales process and improved customer experience is increasing sales, with resellers wishing to integrate the configurator into their own sales tools.

Saniflo’s bath and shower brand Kinedo offers a range of accessible bath replacement products, with their flagship product Kineduo having a vast range of installation types, options and accessories. Sales of the range had been hampered by a lack of promotional materials – with having only a handful of static photographs in the product brochure, installers found it difficult explaining to customers how Kineduo could suit their needs, with no means of visualising the extensive number of configuration options available.

Saniflo approached Codemakers to solve this and asked for our ideas to showcase the full flexibility of the product range. The company initially asked for an online form containing the various options however we encouraged them to introduce an interactive configurator, allowing prospective customers to visualise the installation progressively as options are selected on-screen.

Codemakers partnered with a local CGI product specialist team who modelled and rendered the images, with over 17,000 combinations visualising the various colour, accessory and installation options. The responsive user interface is optimised for mobile, tablet and desktop computer use, allowing users to quickly choose and compare configurations in a wide range of sales environments both at home and in showrooms or at events.

Once the customer has decided on their ideal solution, they can enter their contact details and download a personalised product brochure with further details about the product range alongside their chosen configuration. Customers can also optionally ask for a local installer to call them back, with configuration details being passed over to the installer so they are able to produce a quote for the supply and installation.

The interactive configurator is available from the main Kinedo website and has already been used by many installers and prospective customers, with resellers expressing interest in integrating it with their own sales tools and websites. Later in the year Saniflo expect to add eCommerce functionality to the configurator and extend its use across their product range, allowing customers to obtain a quote for their specific configuration and proceed to buy online for home delivery.
