Lohmann & Rauscher (formally Activa Healthcare) a provider of compression hosiery to the healthcare sector, had recently rebranded and approached Codemakers to develop a new, native mobile app to replace an existing hosiery sizing application that had become obsolete and unusable on newer mobile devices.
After an initial consultation, we recommended a complete overhaul of the app and web infrastructure, along with a much improved user journey and information architecture, and adoption of the new brand. Codemakers undertook a wireframing exercise along with building a fully interactive prototype for user testing and acceptance.
The new apps, built from the ground up for both Android and Apple devices, vastly improve the user experience with intuitive UI design and back-end performance. With browser-based, and Windows Executable versions also produced, Codemakers has increased the availability of the app across multiple media types, allowing users, who are typically nurses, greater access.
We produced a multi-component solution that facilitates simple management and secure download of lead information. Sales lead data is captured and channeled through to a centralised API and stored in a secure, web-based admin area for further analysis, CSV download and customer communications.
The new app is also a useful sales tool for L&R reps who are now able to engage directly with NHS staff and other decision makers, building relationships and increasing sales.
