The Challenge

The first Derby Book Festival needed an online prescence and underlying technology infrastructure to bring together collaborative marketing and events across multiple venues.

Our Thinking

Let’s bring the city together, online, in a celebration of reading, writing and books.

The Result

A responsive, content-managed website with event, venue and ticket management functionality combined with email marketing and customer feedback.

Being involved with, and helping establish, Derby’s first Book Festival was a unique and interesting challenge and we were determined to bring Jenny and Sian’s passion for books, authors and reading into a cohesive online experience, with Event Management, Booking Information, WordPress Development and Mailchimp Email Marketing integration.

With many Stakeholders, Sponsors, Venues, Collaborators, Authors and Volunteers involved, we helped provide a central hub of content, communications and online organisation that allowed the Festival Organisers to run the event succesfully, achieve outstanding ticket sales and provide Derby with a new, fantastic, cultural offering.
